I lost my Gramps, but he lived a full life. I have been appreciating my elders a little more. It's hard to admit that they won't be around forever. Here are some photos to help immortalize them. By this time Gramps was in decline and it was only 3 days till he died. It was also his birthday. April, 18, 2009. <img src="http://www.xerisarah.com/images//Little Clan Sans Tim Brood and GRamps 0409 scaled.JPG"> I did get to spend a nice visit with Gramps a couple weeks before he died. He was in the hospital, but we were able to still make a few memories while reliving a few for old times sake as well. I knew it had been a long time since Gramps had enjoyed any food from the outside world, so I asked him if there were any special items he would like us to bring.
